After years of pleading, game after game, Vin Scully finally gets his way. As you all know, Vin Scully has been extremely vocal about having coaches wear helmets while along the 1st or 3rd base lines. We now find out that it will now be required by the Dodgers. Larry Bowa commented on the news today that base coaches will now be wearing helmets in response to the awful death of the Rockies minor league coach earlier this season.
