I think the Sparky/Pete story is a lot of BS. There's no way that anyone can over-hear Sparky say anything. I've interviewed Sparky a few times in a previous job and he speaks so softly and low that he's really hard to hear and understand... and that's when I was standing right next to him. I find it hard to believe people in a busy shop can over-hear him speak to someone else.
