With this past Saturday's game a happy memory I thought it only proper to name a Clayton Kershaw card as this week's "Card of the Week." After all, after nearly a week of trying to clinch the division, Clayton pitched 6 scoreless innings on Saturday to assist in the Dodgers victory. Unfortunately, he didn't get the win, but who cares? Without his stellar performance we could have been forced to wait til the last game of the year to celebrate.Besides, the card above is pretty bad ass. A confident kid with a steely glare shows off his grip for his four seam fastball, knowing full well that his curveball will make you jump out of your boots. I think it is fair to say that our true young ace has arrived. The card above is his 2009 Allen & Ginter Baseball card.
