- Can you say "extinction level event." If your a fan of the Discovery Channel and its' peers than you know what I'm talking about. Yellowstone National Park, which is essentially a giant volcano, has been experiencing an unusually high number of earthquakes lately.
Swarms of small earthquakes happen frequently in Yellowstone, but it's very unusual for so many earthquakes to happen over several days, said Robert Smith, a professor of geophysics at the University of Utah.
- I should know better than to pass along an unsubstantiated rumor from Eklund, but this one is too awesome. The 2011 Hockey Winter Classic outdoor game may include the Los Angeles Kings playing the Colorado Avalanche at Mile High Stadium. I really hope this rumor comes true.
