Tommy Lights Up the Room

Here is a little bit of Baseball memorabilia mixed in with good old American ingenuity. This eBay seller is selling an incredibly unique and possibly one-of-a-kind oil lamps made out of a couple of Tommy Lasorda Popcorn jars. How very cool looking.

The Godfather, the Dugout Wizard, or just plain Tommy- Lasorda is a cherished gift to the Dodger organization and to Major League Baseball. He has become the games foremost ambassador and continues, to this day, to make over 100 appearances a year to push the glory of Baseball and the mighty Dodger in the sky. Today, 83 years ago, Tommy Lasorda was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania and the world has never been the same.

So, Happy Birthday sir and thank you for 61 great years with the team!
