- What a gimmick! Via Tom Bartsch at Sports Collectors Digest, Lelands Auctions is offering $1Million to anyone who brings to them the 1919 Black Sox confession documents that mysteriously disappeared from the DA's office before their infamous trial.
“The Black Sox confessions are the Dead Sea Scrolls of baseball,” said Josh Evans, founder and chairman of Lelands.com. “Finding them would close the darkest chapter in baseball history.”
