Don't see this everyday: Eddie Gaedel's game bat. On display and at #nscc. pic.twitter.com/Gv6d5dEFSL

That is one tiny Major League bat, above! BTW, the Gaedel bat sold for a little over $44k. I'm amazed it's taken this long for Spahn's collection to his the auction circuit.

I want this card badly. You just can't beat a Jackie and Satchel autographed card.
Upper Deck was right. This is a legendary combo. Satchel Paige & Jackie Robinson Book Card #nsccshow pic.twitter.com/HRP2kuEX1x

I love this vintage equipment display.
This sort of thing is awesome. Pre war cards are one thing, pre war memorabilia is another. #nsccshow pic.twitter.com/1Q6ZZHI9h7

Here's some 19th Century Baseball cards. On the top left is a stack of T3 Turkey Red cabinet cards. On the far bottom right is a Mayo Cut plug. The rest of the cards are Old Judge tobacco cards.

Just got jealous. Some of that vintage memorabilia looks sweet.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding. That show is like a giant museum.
DeleteIt sucks we won't see a show of this magnitude in SoCal for a long time - at least 5 to 6 years. The National is set to stay in the midwest or east coast for quite some time.
