With the Baseball season in full bloom I'd like to think that the Dodgers are on everybody's mind, but just ain't true today. 'Cause today is #MambaDay, and it seems like everyone is thinking about Kobe Bryant. He will be playing his very last game at the Staples Center tonight.
Since I am a slave to the masses and unwilling to buck those whims, I figured I'd take a bit of time to make a few Kobe/Dodgers fantasy Baseball cards in honor of the occasion.
For the cards at top I used the 1972 Topps Baseball card design. On the top left I using a photo taken by Jon SooHoo/LA Dodgers 2013 and on the top right I grabbed a photo taken by Mark J. Terrill / Associated Press.
For the cards below I used the 1979 Topps Baseball card design. On the bottom left I using a photo taken by Jon SooHoo/LA Dodgers 2013 and on the bottom right I took a screen-grab from a YouTube Video.
For the cards below I used the 1986 Topps Baseball card design. Both photo were taken by Getty Images and found here and here.
