The Cincinnati Dog will be available for this homestand only against the Reds at the Extreme Loaded Dog concession areas located on the field, loge and reserve levels. It features a quarter-pound, all-beef hot dog topped with Cincinnati chili, diced onion, cheddar cheese and oyster crackers.
The fourth 2016 issue of the new Dodger Insider magazine, featuring Chase Utley on the cover, will be available at Dodger Stadium. (see it on the left. The Dodgers merged their previously separate Playbill and Dodger Insider magazines into one publication (at least 80 pages per issue) with a new edition available each homestand. They are distributed at auto gates (one per vehicle) and via Fan Services for those who use alternate transportation.

- The Military Hero of the Game is U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Cory Lemelle of Seal Beach. Lemelle graduated from boot camp at Parris Island, SC and attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Lejeune, NC. He deployed to Iraq with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in September 2006. In 2008, he deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Lemelle joined HQ Battalion G-4 U.S. Marines Corps Forces Reserves in New Orleans in 2009 as the Special Missions Unit OP Assistant Chief and worked in G-4 until 2012. In 2012, he transferred to 3D Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Companies (ANGLICO), where he currently serves as fiscal chief.

As part of Military Appreciation Night, the Dodgers will recognize deployed military personnel by showing a video on DodgerVision from U.S. Army soldiers with Bravo Company 640th Aviation Safety Battalion of Los Alamitos who are currently stationed in Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The Dodgers will also host a joint enlistment ceremony for incoming U.S. Air Force, Army, Marines and Navy servicemen and women.
The Freedom Dog will be available at the Extreme Loaded Dog concession areas located on the field, loge and reserve levels. The Freedom Dog features a quarter-pound, all-beef hot dog topped with ketchup, creamy horseradish and purple shoestring potatoes.
U.S. Army Specialist Maurice Alpharicio will perform the national anthem. Alpharicio joined the Army specializing in CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) defense and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the New York Film Academy’s Los Angeles campus. U.S. Army Sergeant Combat Medic José G. Ramos will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
JoJo Fletcher from ABC’s “The Bachelorette” will also throw a first pitch.
- The Military Hero of the Game is U.S. Army Sergeant Combat Medic José G. Ramos of Whittier. Ramos served as a combat medic from 1965 to 1968, including in Vietnam in 1967. In 2000, Ramos launched the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day (WHVVD) campaign, which included leading a team of people riding bicycles from Whittier to Washington, DC, asking citizens and lawmakers along the way to honor all Vietnam veterans with a day of recognition. In February 2002, Whittier became the first city in the country to program March 30 as WHVVD. In June and November 2006, the U.S. Congress and Senate unanimously passed the first national resolution proclaiming March 30 as WHVVD, and in September 2009, California became the first state to proclaim March 30 as WHVVD. Ramos will throw Tuesday’s ceremonial first pitch.

Fans can arrive early for a special mariachi performance at approximately 6:35 p.m. by Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar who will play a selection of songs chosen by González. Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar will also perform the national anthem.
Current WBC Super Featherweight World Champion Francisco “El Bandido” Vargas will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
- The Military Hero of the Game is U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Miguel Aguilar of Los Angeles. In 2010, Aguilar graduated boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego and attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton. He completed small arms repair school at Fort Lee, VA. In 2012, he deployed to Afghanistan with the 1st Marine Division in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He deployed with the GLT-8 in 2013. In 2014, he transferred to 3D Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Companies (ANGLICO), where he is currently serving as the armorer for the company. He is pursuing an associate’s degree in kinesiology at Santa Monica College.
- The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) conducts silent auctions throughout the season featuring signed pieces of memorabilia from Dodger players, coaches and alumni. Auctions take place behind the Vin Scully press box on the club level. The items for auction Wednesday include a Justin Turner autographed jersey, Clayton Kershaw autographed baseball and Kiké Hernández autographed photo.
