Panini Promo's from 2016 National Sports Collectors Convention - The Dodgers Cards

It's been almost two weeks since the National Sports Collectors Convention closed its doors. Since that time I've shared pics of the promotional cards given out by Topps and Beckett (link here). Now, I take a look at some of the Panini promos that were handed out.

Unfortunately, a complete checklist of silver wrapper redemption and VIP gold wrapper cards have not been made available, so there are likely to be more cards out there that I am not aware of. Please let me know if you run across something that is not listed below.

Panini America VIP Promo Set

Panini gave out a limited edition 6-card set to all attendees who were a part of the conventions VIP attendee program, and Kenta Maeda is included. The set also includes Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Buddy Hield, Brandon Ingram and Trevor Story. These cards were placed within promo bags and handed out to collectors when they arrived at the convention.

Panini America Silver Wrapper Redemption

These cards were available as a part of a wrapper redemption program during the show. Go here for a checklist. There appears to be numerous parallels and inserts of Dodger players that are not on any checklist (yet). I'll endeavor to put together as complete a Dodgers checklist as soon as possible.

According to a checklist all the base cards have autographed parallels available; such as the Seager card below. I've confirmed the existence of a Kershaw autograph (photo unavailable), but have not heard of a Maeda autograph.

I was not planning on mentioned any of the below cards since they are no Dodger players. On the other hand, I figure the two listed below are close enough. Featured are the Legend insert cards of Magic Johnson and Mia Hamm (wife of current Dodgers broadcaster Nomar Garciaparra). BTW, autograph parallels of both cards below exist.

Panini America VIP Gold Wrappers

As in years past, Panini hosted a limited VIP party for collectors able to spend a whole bunch of dough at the show. These collectors had the opportunity to meet with several notable athletes (Reggie Jackson, Lawrence Taylor, Allen Iverson, Scottie Pippen and Shawn Kemp, and NASCAR rookie Chase Elliott) and received a a boatload of "Gold VIP Wrappers" with cards unique to the event. Go here or here for information. I have yet to see a checklist of these cards.
