Weekend Autograph Opportunities: A Busy LA Kings Weekend

Here are this weekends autograph opportunities and events throughout the Southland. As always, be sure to check the Blue Heaven Calendar for other events (a link can always be found on the tab at the top of this page, just left of center), and always confirm with the establishment. Everything is subject to change.  Please email me with any tips about upcoming events in Southern California.  As the rest of the week progresses I'll update this post with other events (if there are any) as I become aware of them.  Also, I don't always list every event below, so be sure to check my Calendar.  I always try to favor free signing events over paying events.  Click on any pic to embiggen.

LA Kings defensemen Alec Martinez and Derek Forbort will be signing free autographs for fans today, Wednesday, February 15th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Staples store in Torrance.  Go here for information.

LA Kings legend Charlie Simmer will join the Ontario Reign during Los Angeles Kings Affiliation Night at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario.  The game that evening is at 7:00 PM.  Go here for information.  He will join in the ceremonial puck drop and sign free autographs during the first intermission. BTW, the first 5,000 fans will also receive a Kingston (the teams mascot) vinyl figurine in a special Kings jersey.

LA Kings youngsters Nick Dowd and Paul LaDue will be signing free autographs at the Staples Center - Era D Lab on Friday, February 17th from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.    Go here for information.

At the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend is the longtime-running Long Beach Expo that starts this coming Thursday to Saturday, February 16th to February 18th.  This has primarily always been a coin, currency and stamp show, but has recently included some sports collector dealers (it's a small group, though).  Go here for information.
