Back by popular demand, here is some info on the upcoming homestand against the Chicago Cubs that starts tonight, Friday, May 26th. Unfortunately, the Dodgers no longer provide the same kind of detail they had in the past, so the below information does not include, for the most part, first pitch, pregame ceremony, Military Hero of the Game, and other interesting stuff. Below are some important links:

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by actor Terry Crews. He has been a regular at Dodger Stadium for quite some time - not only as a first pitch celebrity, but also as a fan. Per a story written last year by Jon Weisman at Dodger Insider:
“When people say baseball is a very spiritual thing, it’s just what it is,” he continued. “It’s more than just about the games. It’s just so deep, and to me, it has tremendous meaning. I got kind of deep there, but really, that’s what it is. And really to this day, those Dodger games, every time I’m invited, if I can get there, I do. But I never go alone. I always have to bring a friend, a family member, kids. We go there, and we always are closer when it’s over.BTW, you can watch Terry in the broadcast booth to call a Dodgers game for Express Written Consent, here.
“When you start to appreciate the beauty of what this whole thing is, it’s a very spiritual experience. I don’t know what else to say … it was beyond belief. We would never have been able to get that anywhere else. It was once-in-a-lifetime.”
