It's times like this that allow every community -- even us Baseball card collecting fools -- to come together to help those in need. As you surely know, Houston and much of coastal Texas has been getting hammered by a hurricane that has caused residents to flee and lives to be lost. The ensuing floods are causing untold amounts of dread and destruction.
In a belief that "every little bit counts" Topps has decided to do something that we can all participate in. This morning they issued a 2017 Topps Now card featuring several Houston Astros players lining up for a moment of silence in honor of the flood victims before Tuesday evenings game, and all proceeds from its sale will go directly to the American Red Cross.
