I can't imagine a better way to start. The Dodgers have slugged their way to a 2-0 lead in their NLDS series against the Diamondbacks by knocking in 17 runs. They've done this with timely hitting and just one home run by Justin Turner that set the tone of series when he slammed a three-run homer in the first inning of Game 1. In honor of this feat Topps issued a 2017 Topps Now postseason card yesterday (now sold out). See it above. Per the description on the reverse:
Justin Turner hit a three-run home run in the first inning to kickstart the Los Angeles Dodgers 2017 Postseason run with an early 3-0 lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Turner later added an RBI single in the fourth and another in the eighth to tie the Dodgers record for most RBI in a Postseason game with five on the night.
This afternoon features a card commemorating last nights 8-5 win. It is still available so go here to check it out and order. Per the description on the reverse:
The Los Angeles Dodgers won Game 2 of the NLDS over the Arizona Diamondbacks by a score of 8-5 and now hols a 2-0 lead in the series. This is the first time in Dodgers history that they have scored at least eight runs in each of their first two games of a Postseason series.
