Diamondbacks Playoff Series Starts on Friday - Food, Pregame Info and Other Stuff!

The first playoff series of 2017 starts on Friday against the Arizona Diamonbacks. Below are some odds and ends for this upcoming series. Here are some important links:

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten a lot of information about this series other than some very unique food items that will be available at Dodger Stadium for the first time, start times and first pitches. Check it all out below. I will update this post with new information once they are made available.

The BBQ Rib Platter will be available for this series against Diamondbacks and will be available only at the King’s Hawaiian Grill in the Left Field Plaza. It features smoked baby back ribs slathered in blueberry bacon BBQ sauce, served with parmesan fries. See it on the right.

The Chicken Waffle Sammy will also be available for this series and can be found at Chick N’ Tots on Field level (section 8) & Lot’s O’ Tots on Loge level (section 136) &  Tenders Etc. on Reserve level (section 14). It features Belgian Waffle, spicy crispy chicken with candied smoked bacon, maple syrup. See it on the left.

The Double Bacon Double Cheeseburger will also be available for this series and can be found at Elysian Park Grill on Field (section 22 & 23) & Reserve Levels (section 31). It features two all-beef patties, American cheese, candied smoked bacon, maple syrup, blackberry jam piled on a traditional glazed donut. See it on the right.

The Carnitas Waffle Fries will also be available for this series and can be found at Bud & Burgers on Field Level (section 47). It features crispy waffle fries topped with smoked pork carnitas, pico de gallo, avocado crema, salsa verde & jalapeños. See it on the left.

The Cheet-O-Lote will also be available for this series and can be found at King’s Hawaiian Grill on Left Field Plaza & Think Blue BBQ on Reserve level (section 30). It features roasted sweet corn on the cob slathered in chipotle-lime mayo, dusted with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, cotija cheese & tajin seasoning. See it on the right.

The Ice Cream Chicken Sandwich will also be available for this series and can be found at Bud & Burgers on Field Level (section 47) & Tommy Lasorda’s Trattoria on Right Field Plaza. It features Glazed onion-grape jam filled donut, spicy crispy chicken, candied bacon & vanilla ice cream. See it below.

Friday's game starts at 7:31 PM. Auto gates open at 4:31 PM, and stadium gates open at 4:31 PM. Pregame ceremonies begin at 7:01 PM.

Don Newcombe will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The national anthem will be sung by 16-year-old singer/actress/dancer/songwriter Isabela Moner.

Maury Will will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The national anthem performed by Platinum selling recording artist Elliott Yamin.
