First of all, all the cards shown here are now sold out. They were made available on Wednesday and sales closed up on Thursday afternoon. The first card highlighting Game 6 features Chris Taylor and his game-tying double in the sixth inning. See the reverse of the card on the right.
The second card of the day tells us all about Corey Seager sacrafice fly that gave the Dodgers the lead following Taylor's double.
Per the description on the reverse:
Corey Seager drove a deep fly to the right-field warning track to score Chase Utley and give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning. The sacrifice fly capped a two-run sixth for the Dodgers, who overcame an early 1-0 deficit in Game 6.This next card is a little silly -- not that I don't appreciate Bellinger's grab on a low throw.
Above is the Dodgers' third card of the game and it celebrates Cody's stretch and catch to end an Astros rally in the seventh inning. Per the writing on the reverse:
With runners on the corners, Joe Altuve hit a ground ball to Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner, who made a low throw to first base, but Cody Bellinger's incredible scoop saved the out. Bellinger's defense not only ended the inning but saved a run and ended the Astros comeback threat.
I thought Joc Pederson's enthusiastic trot around the bases after his solo homer in the seventh inning was the goofiest thing I'd ever seen. Unfortunately, I didn't see any of this antics during the game. I was sitting in the Left Field Pavilion at the time and quickly found myself hollering, jumping, high-fiving and hugging everyone around me. It was bedlam.
Lastly, Kenley Jansen gets a Topps Now card for recording a save for his two-inning effort.
Per the description on the reverse:
Kenley Jansen came into the game in the eigth inning as he looked to convert a six-out save and force a Game 7. Jansen rose to the occasion as he tossed two strong innings and struck out three batters to earn the save in Game 6, forcing a winner-take-all Game 7 in the 2017 World Series.
