Check out this fantastic 1955 Sporting News press photo taken by Don Wingfield prior to a World Series game between the Dodgers and Yankees. It recently sold at RMY Auction at $225 (auction link here). Per the descriptor on the reverse:
Yogi Berra shows Jackie Robinson how he had tagged the Dodgers third sacker in the opening game. Berra still wouldn't admit that Bill Summers, the umpire at the time, was right. Robinson seems to be enjoying Berra's explanation of the play.Below are more links to check out:

- RIP, Dick Enberg. My deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of Enberg. Per Steve Adams at MLB Trade Rumors; "Dick Enberg Passes Away." Below is a fantastic video featuring Enberg with Vin Scully chatting about retirement (via Craig Minami on twitter):

"To me, Dick Enberg was the greatest all-around sportscaster who ever lived and will never be emulated. He was a very dear friend of mine. He had my respect, admiration and my friendship. He will be sorely missed." -Vin Scully pic.twitter.com/sFnCZOaGm6— Los Angeles Dodgers (@Dodgers) December 22, 2017
- Carson Cistulli at FanGraphs shares the, "2018 ZiPS Projections – Los Angeles Dodgers."
Dodger field players recorded the second-most WAR collectively in the majors this past season, and all but one (Chase Utley) of the club’s top-13 players from 2017 remains under contract for 2018. Unsurprisingly, the projections below are almost uniformly strong.
