Here's a look at Dodger veteran Pee Wee Reese on Camera Day at the LA Coliseum in April 1959 that is currently available at RMY Auction (auction link).

Collins was one of five Oklahoma softballers to receive the Michelle Smith Outstanding Student Athlete Award during the Warren Spahn Awards Gala at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.At the same event, Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers was presented the Warren Spahn Award as the best left-handed pitcher in major league baseball. Kershaw, a three-time National League Cy Young Award winner, received the Spahn Award for the fourth time.

- FYI: Former Dodger Ron Fairly has a memoir coming out called "Fairly at Bat." Per a press release:
Back Story Publishing today released baseball great Ron Fairly’s first-person memoir Fairly at Bat: My 50 years in baseball, from the batter's box to the broadcast booth written with former Los Angeles Times sports reporter and author Steve Springer. Fairly at Bat is a series of stories told in Fairly’s voice that cover his 50-year career as a player and broadcaster, including as a member of three World Series champion Dodgers teams in the 1950s and ‘60s. The book includes a foreword by Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda, a timeline of Fairly's career from youth baseball in Long Beach, Calif., to the broadcast booth, until his retirement in 2012, and a statistical summary of his 20 years as a major leaguer.
- Dodgers co-owner Todd Boehly is making waves in Hollywood. Via Ryan Faughnder at the LA Times; "'House of Cards' producer MRC merges with Dick Clark Productions and Hollywood Reporter publisher." Boehly has ownership interest in all three of these companies.
