With the seasons start just around the corner we now get a look at several of the holiday and special event uniforms, caps and socks for the upcoming season. Go here for more information. Starting with Jackie Robinson Day, Sunday, April 15th, we see a jazzy new logo (seen above) and some cool socks (seen below).
I really like the hooded fleece seen below.
Next on the calendar is Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13th. There is no unique uniform, but players will be wearing pink caps and socks.
A matching pair of pink socks is optional for every player, while regular Club jerseys will be adorned by a pink ribbon on the left chest.
On Memorial Weekend, from Saturday, May 26th to Monday, May 28th, the Dodgers will wear the below complete uniforms. Per the MLB press release:
The right side of the caps feature five stars to represent the five branches of the U.S military, while the stars are also stitched on the jerseys' right sleeves and sewn across the socks. The Toronto Blue Jays will wear four maple leafs on the right side of their caps to signify the four branches of the Canadian military.
Father's Day, Sunday, June 17th will feature unique blue caps and socks.
A light blue ribbon will be placed on the left chest of regular team jerseys, while New Era designed a new light blue cap with team color brim. Players also have the option of wearing multi-pattern blue-dyed socks.
Lastly, Independence Day Weekend, Monday, July 2nd to Wednesday, July 4th will feature the below uniform.
For the fourth straight year, Clubs will also wear a matching jersey, and after a popular debut in 2017, player socks will match the rest of the uniform with a stars & stripes pattern. The Toronto Blue Jays will sport their red alternate jerseys with red Maple Leaf caps on Canada Day - July 1.
