The Dodgers are inviting the Los Angeles community to meet nearly 50 employers and pursue over 2,000 available job opportunities on Saturday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the 23rd annual Community Job Fair at Dodger Stadium. More information on event registration, for both job seekers and employers, as well as a complete list of job opportunities can be found at LACommunityJobFair.com.

The event will be held on the Field Level concourse, rain or shine, and admission to the job fair is free. There is no charge for parking at Dodger Stadium, and free shuttle service into the stadium will be provided from the corner of Vin Scully Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. Participants are encouraged to dress in business attire and bring multiple of copies of their resume.

  • Per the OC Register; "L.A. trying for its first MLB All-Star Game in nearly 40 years." Bill Plunkett at the OC Register adds more:
“We want it for the fans,” Kasten said. “We obviously are very interested as we have been since the day we got here. We’ve had a lot of conversations. I think the conversations have been good. I think we’re making progress on putting everything in place to get the game.
“I don’t want to say what year yet but we are working on getting the very first one we can.”
