Giants Series Starts Friday - Stadium Giveaways, Pregame Info and Other Stuff!

Smoked BBQ Chicken Nachos

The next homestand starts on Friday against the San Francisco Giants. Below are some odds and ends for this upcoming homestand. Here are some important links:

Frito Pie Extreme Dog

There are three new food items being made available for this entire homestand, and they are available at the On Deck Circle stand on Field Level section 48, Loge Level section 133 and Reserve Level section 4. First, in honor of Atlanta you can get the Smoked BBQ Chicken Nachos which features Slow and low smoked chicken, smothered in house made sweet smokey barbecue sauce, served on top of triangle cut nacho chips, topped with green onions and cheddar cheese.

Turkey Pastrami Gravy Fries

The Texas new food item is a Frito Pie Extreme Dog that features an all beef hot dog, topped with fitos, chili, nacho cheese, diced onion, black beans, pickled jalapenos and sour cream.

The third food item honoring San Francisco series is an Turkey Pastrami Gravy Fries featuring crispy french fries, tossed in gourmet sea salt, topped with turkey pastrami, brown gravy and chopped parsley.

Friday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:30 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:00 PM. It is Friday Night Fireworks, so fans will be able to go down onto the outfield after the game to watch the spectacle. The night's theme will be a Star Wars Night mix. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Kenley Calrissian Star Wars Bobblehead . See it on the right.

Saturday's game starts at 5:15 PM. Auto gates open at 2:45 PM, and stadium gates open at 3:15 PM.

It is Sandlot Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will get an exclusive Dodgers' Sandlot Night shirt. See that on the right. This event is already sold out.

It is also Movie Night at Dodger Stadium. The club will treat fans to “The Sandlot,” and it will be screened for fans following Saturday’s game. Screenings are free with a game-day ticket. Fans sitting in the right field pavilion and left field pavilion will be invited down to the field postgame for a better viewing experience.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Silent Auction features autographed memorabilia and is located outside the Vin Scully Press Box.

Happy Father's Day. Sunday's game starts at 1:10 PM. Auto gates open at 10:40 AM, and stadium gates open at 11:10 AM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Father’s Day Money Clip. See it on the right.

It is Viva Los Dodgers in the Dodgers parking lot prior to the game at the Historic 76 Station in Lot 6. They will be celebrating the Cultures of the Caribbean. Festivities begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 1:00 PM. Autographed guest include legendary Dodgers shortstop Bill Russell from 11:00 Am to 12:00 PM, and Steve Yeager from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Go here for more information. Banda La Maravillosa will perform on stage. Also the Concrete Allstars, a renown Bboy Crew, will perform as well.

Also, after the game will be a special Father’s Day Catch on the field. All ticketed fans in attendance may go on the field to live your dreams. The Kids Run the Bases has been cancelled for this day.

As a part of today's Father's Day celebration ballplayers throughout the league will be wearing special Father's Day caps and socks. They will also wear a light blue ribbon placed on the left chest of their uniforms. Below is a peek at what the Dodgers will be wearing.
