Joc Pederson and his dog Blue met with Dodger fans and their canine friends for a special photo shoot yesterday afternoon in Van Nuys.

Furthermore, the Dodgers FanFest is tomorrow, and there are plenty of autograph and VIP events still available. Go here to check it out. Below are more links to check out:
- This Day in Dodgers History: In 1934 Giants skipper Bill Terry, when asked about the Dodgers prospects for the upcoming season, remarked, "I haven't heard anything from them; are they still in the league?" This obviously caused all of Brooklyn to scream in outrage, and ultimately lead to the Dodgers' greatest revenge. With the Giants tied with the Cardinals and with just two games left to play in the 1934 season (both against Brooklyn), the Dodgers would sweep to deny them the pennant.
- Happy Birthday, Danny Richardson, Ray Schmandt, Ed Head & Ed Goodson!
- FYI: Dodgers single-game tickets for the 2019 season will go on sale today, Friday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. exclusively online at Dodgers.com.

- Via Ken Gurnick at MLB.com; "Honeycutt: Kershaw 'back in the right direction': Pitching coach gives updates on ace, other Dodgers pitchers."
"From my understanding, it's structure and body composition where maybe he compensated to get through and they have to get flexibility back," Honeycutt said, as opposed to a structural failure that needs repair. "Right now, he's throwing and he's staying in his line, it's good. When he gets out of line, it's not good. His body's telling him what he can and can't do. So, we need to get him to where it's not affecting him going forward. Today he said it's probably the best he's felt. Hopefully everything is moving in the right direction."
- Tracy Hackler at Panini's The Knight's Lance shares a bunch of preview pics of their 2019 Diamon Kings Baseball brand; including the Kershaw card on the right. Go here to check out more. This product will hit stores in early April.
- There's some great stories I hadn't seen before. Per Adam Hughes at Wax Pack Gods; "10 Great Baseball Card Stories from Unexpected Sources."
- Per David Laurila at FanGraphs; "Dodgers Prospect Tony Gonsolin Had a Breakout Season."
“I changed from a two-seam grip to a four-seam grip in instructs in 2016. I threw a two-inning simulated game where it was, ‘OK, the first thing you’re going to do is throw all four-seams and then, secondly, you’re going to throw all two-seams.’ I did, and then it was, ‘Your ball doesn’t sink.’ The [readings] showed that. They said I should probably switch to a four-seamer, and I was like, ‘Well, I can’t argue with that.’...
On his split/change: “I started working on it in spring training of 2017. I was basically trying to figure out a changeup grip that works for me. Tim Hudson was a pitcher I liked growing up, and wondering how he threw his was kind of how it started. [Joel] Peralta was with us in spring training with us that year — he’s known for his splitter — and he talked to everybody about how he throws his. I took things I liked from that and kind of made my own.
- This might be the greatest thing ever. Adrian Beltre and his family somehow ended up in a JC Penny commercial, and it seems obvious no body with the film crew knew who he was. Watch it below (Hat Tip: Mark Sandritter on twitter)
