Weekend Autograph Opportunities: California Strong Celebrity Softball Game & Padres FanFest

Here are this weekends autograph opportunities and events throughout the Southland. As always, be sure to check the Blue Heaven Calendar for other events (a link can always be found on the tab at the top of this page, just left of center), and always confirm with the establishment. Everything is subject to change. Please email me with any tips about upcoming events in Southern California. As the rest of the week progresses I'll update this post with other events (if there are any), as I become aware of them. Also, I don't always list every event below, so be sure to check my Calendar. This coming Sunday, January 13th at Pepperdine University will be the California Strong Celebrity Softball Game -- from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Go here for more information. A whole bunch of stars will be there to lend a helping hand; including Christian Yelich, Ryan Braun, Mike Moustakas, Adam Sandler, Jamie Foxx, Brad Paisley, Reggie Miller, Charlie Sheen, Justin Turner, Joc Pederson, Mira Sorvino, Baker Mayfield, Camille Kostek, Patrick Schwarzenegger and more. Autographs do not appear to be guaranteed, but I suspect many will be more than willing to sign; especially if you arrive early.

OUR APPEAL

In response to the recent tragedies in California, professional baseball players Christian Yelich, Ryan Braun, and Mike Moustakas, along with Rams Quarterback, Jared Goff, joined forces with the Southeast Ventura County YMCA to create California Strong. California Strong is committed to raising money and awareness to support those affected by the Borderline Shooting in Thousand Oaks, the Camp Fire in Northern California and the Woolsey and Hill Fires in Southern California.

If you're down for something fun to do in San Diego this coming Saturday then I might suggest heading out to Petco Park for the Padres FanFest. Admission is free and there'll be all kinds of activities; including autographs. Go here for more information and to get a complimentary ticket.

BTW, the Dodgers FanFest will be on Saturday, January 26th. I will be sure to post up more information when available.
