What a weekend for the Dodgers. Although they were unable to extend their winning streak by sweeping the Brewers, they were able to show that they are the alpha-males of the National League. On Friday evening, Kiké Hernandez walloped a game-winning three-run homer off of the usually unhittable Josh Hader to drive the Dodgers towards victory, 5-3. For his efforts he was given a 2019 Topps Now card that sold over the weekend and has a print run of 223 copies. Per the description on the reverse of the card.Enrique Hernandez shocked the Brewers when he lined an 0-2 fastball off Josh Haber for a three-run home run to give the Dodgers a 5-3 comeback victory and extend their win streak to six.
Then on Sunday afternoon Cody Bellinger decided he wanted to best Kiké, so he not only punished Hader with a game-winning homer in the ninth inning but also made a game-saving steal in centerfield. Below is what's written on the reverse:In the bottom of the eighth inning, Cody Bellinger fully extended and pulled a ball back over the wall, robbing Christian Yellich of a home run. Bellinger followed that stellar display of defense with the game-winning home run off of Josh Hader in the top of the ninth to secure a 6-5 victory and series win for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
