You know, a photo of Babe Ruth in a Dodgers uniform must always be shared. Featured above is a 1938 vintage photograph of Dodgers first base coach Babe Ruth that is currently available through Hunt Auctions (link here).

- This Day in Dodgers History: In 2007 Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley is elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame by the veterans committee. In 1991 the Dodgers signed free agent knuckleball pitcher Tom Candiotti to a four-year $15,500,000 contract. He would eventually spend six years in Dodger Blue, recording a 52-64 record with an 3.57 ERA, 3.84 FIP and a 14.6 WAR.

- Yimi Garcia has been non-tendered by the Dodgers, via a tweet from Ken Gurnick. Yimi Garcia went 1-4 with an 3.61 ERA, 0.866 WHIP and struck out 9.5 batters per nine innings. On the other hand, his FIP was a horrendous 5.19, had a 29.6 percent groundball rate (which is way too low) and allowed 15 home runs last season. Still, Garcia was far from the least effective reliever on the staff. I nevertheless suspect he'll sign a contract with another club and get a nice pay day.

- Just in case you want to be brought up to speed on all the rumors, here another to wet your whistle. Via Jeff Todd at MLB Trade Rumors -- "Anthony Rendon Met Recently With Dodgers." As I've said before, you should expect the Dodgers to meet with everyone, so this should not be surprising news.
- Here's another rumor that isn't surprising. Strasburg has also met with the Dodgers, via Chris Lingebach at @1067TheFan on twitter (Hat Tip: Daniel Preciado at Dodgers Nation)
Per @Russellmania621, Stephen Strasburg met with the Dodgers last week, and is meeting with other west coast teams this week. https://t.co/Ih37s6fzPc— Chris Lingebach (@ChrisLingebach) December 2, 2019

- Via Hadley Meares at KCET -- "The Strong Women Who Shaped Roz Wyman, an L.A. Legend." as you may know Wyman was instrumental in getting the Dodgers to Los Angeles.
Wyman comes by her fearlessness honestly. A native Angeleno, Wyman was born in 1930 to Oscar and Sarah Wiener, who owned and operated a drugstore with a 22-seat lunch counter at Ninth and Western. Oscar was a Russian immigrant who came to America as a stowaway and put himself through pharmacy school. Sarah, originally from Chicago, was smart, brave and a staunch Democrat. “My mother was by far the domineering one,” Wyman recalls. “My poor little daddy. She loved baseball. She was really smart. Only had a high school education and became a pharmacist.”
