Due to construction, this year’s event will be held in Dodger Stadium Parking Lots P and N (outside of Top Deck and Right Field Reserve). FanFest is free and open to the public, but digital tickets are required and can only be claimed at Dodgers.com/FanFest. Parking is free, and parking gates will open for the event at 9:30 a.m.
FanFest features appearances and autograph opportunities from Dodger players, coaches and alumni in addition to a live stage program, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Mystery Bag Fundraiser and ‘Yard Sale’ – featuring past promotional items, t-shirts and more - and family-friendly activities such as batting cages, game inflatables, a rock wall, carnival games, video games, live music, photo opportunities, food and beverages. In addition, season tickets, premium tickets, individual and group tickets will be on sale during the event.Below are more links to check out:
- This Day in Dodgers History: In 1936 the Brooklyn Dodgers signed future Hall of Famer Freddie Lindstrom. This would be his final season of Major League ball. As a Dodger he got into only 26 games, slashing .264/.297/.302/.599. In 1996 interleague play is approved by Major League Baseball's executive council.

"As a competitive person, the thing that I do is look forward. You can't change things that were, you can't change the outcome. What you can do is control what you can control, which is your performance, how well you hit that ball, how well you pitch the ball, how well you defend. I think it's important to focus on that and try to bring a World Series back to Los Angeles."
- Yu Darvish released a YouTube video where he expresses his opinion on the recent Astros cheating scandal currently embroiling Baseball. Go here to check it out. BTW, it's in Japanese -- Fortunately, a very helpful person on Reddit provided a translation (it's not exactly word for word). Check that out here (u/salviadd).
From my point of view, sign-stealing from 2nd base is fine. It's been done throughout the years and there's no way to prevent it so even though it may be morally wrong, it's in the gray zone. Anyway, we'll have to see where things go from here. Even immediately after these punishments came down, I started receiving more tweets and messages from Dodger fans apologizing for saying mean things about me for the World Series performance. But then again, no matter what the Astros were doing, there were pitchers who still held them. So even if they were sign-stealing, I don't want to use this as an excuse for the results of that World Series. I don't want to change what happened during that series and I see it as a very important event in my career that has helped me to grow and improve. So despite all the negativity and hate I received after that series and the apologies and forgiveness I'm receiving now, I want to put that all aside and just focus on what's on the field. I'm not putting much more thought into it.

The concern over any possible discipline for breaking ranks didn't entirely silence teams. At 12:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers, who lost the 2017 World Series in seven games to an Astros team that MLB's investigation confirmed cheated during that postseason, released a statement that read: "All clubs have been asked by Major League Baseball not to comment on today's punishment of the Houston Astros as it's inappropriate to comment on discipline imposed on another club. The Dodgers have also been asked not to comment on any wrongdoing during the 2017 World Series and will have no further comment at this time."Run through a passive-aggressive translator, the Dodgers' words mirrored what a team president had said earlier in the day.
"Crane won," he said. "The entire thing was programmed to protect the future of the franchise. He got his championship. He keeps his team. His fine is nothing. The sport lost, but Crane won."
- Per Barry Lewis at Tulsa World -- "Scott Hennessey returns as Drillers manager."
"We haven't had a manager who has had that connection with our fans and staff since Bobby Jones," Melega said. "He also has a special relationship with the Dodgers and his players. His connection with us is special and not just because of the performance on the field. We have a special bond with him."
- Per Cyd Zeigler at OutSports -- "Dave Roberts’ visit with Fellowship of Christian Athletes gets the benefit of the doubt: The Dodgers manager said he didn’t know about FCA’s anti-gay policies, but that he supports inclusion."
- FYI, the Dodgers officially announced the signing of Alex Wood yesterday. As a result, they designated right-handed reliever Casey Sadler for assignment. Although it is still very possible he remains a Dodger, he twitter like he was moving on. See that tweet here.
