Also, here is a link to some information about the festivities that will be happening around the stadium, via the LA Kings website.  Gates open at 3:30 PM for the 6:30 start.  BTW, Panini America will be giving-away FREE NHL Sticker Albums and packs of 2013-14 NHL Stickers. As a bonus, Panini America has created a custom NHL Sticker sheet honoring the Stadium Series by featuring members of the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings.  WooHoo!

• Via Jon Rosen at LA Kings Insider tells us that last they played a media/celebrity pick-up hockey game on the ice at Dodger Stadium, and he has photos to prove it.  Heck, he has a video of himself skating on the ice.  I am so damn envious!  BTW, the ice looked great.
• Mark Langill at the Dodger Insider tells us a bit about the time ski jumping happened at Dodger Stadium.
• Via Eric Stephen at True Blue LA, "Julio Urias named top Dodgers prospect by Baseball Prospectus".
• Via Vincent Bonsignore at the LA Daily News, "Dodgers wanted Masahiro Tanaka, but Yankees desperately needed him".
• Apparently, the Dodgers have signed former Angel Chone Figgins to a minor league contract, via a tweet from Ken Rosenthal.

• Via Ben Badlet at Baseball America, "Dodgers GM Attends Private Workout For Cuban Outfielder Rusney Castillo".
• Wow!  Via Rich Mueller at Sports Collectors Daily, “Mona Lisa of Baseball Advertising Posters” to be Sold by REA.  This poster is gorgeous.  The poster may represent the very first time an athlete, in any sport, endorsed a product for commercial sales.  BTW, it is of Baseball pioneer and Hall of Famer George Wright.
