Friday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM. It is Friday Night Fireworks, so fans will be able to go down onto the field after the game to watch the spectacle. The night's theme will be a Hot August Night-Neil Diamond. It is Union Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will get an exclusive Union Night t-shirt. See that on the right. If not already sold out go here for information.
The Dodgers will also be honoring recent Second Chance Bootcamp graduates in a pregame ceremony. They are formerly incarcerated individuals who are being groomed for union apprenticeships and good-paying careers.As a preview for Saturday's National Baseball Card Day events at local card shops a special four-card pack will be given to fans as an in-stadium giveaway on Friday. If not already sold out go here for information.Kosher Dogs, provided by Jeff's Gourmet Kosher Dogs Stand, will be available for fans at both the Reserve (Section 31) and Field Level (next to Tommy Lasorda's Trattoria in the Right Field Plaza). Options include a Kosher Dog, Kosher Jalapeño Dog and a Kosher Sausage.
Elliott Yamin will sing the national anthem.
