Weekend Autograph Opportunity: Dodger Jose Gonzalez -- one of the "Stuntmen"

Here are this weekends autograph opportunities and events throughout the Southland. This is a rare appearance. Former Dodger Jose Gonzalez, member of the vaunted "Stuntmen" of the 1988 World Series squad, will be signing autographs for fans at Harry's Dugout in Montebello on Saturday, August 18th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. This is a pay per autograph event. Go here for more information.

BTW, if you've never heard the the "Stuntmen" before then you should check out this great quote from their leader Mickey Hatcher, via Sam McManis of the LA Times:

According to the code of behavior of the Dodgers' self-proclaimed Stunt Men, outlined and enforced by Mickey Hatcher, each member of this group of non-starters is required to go through life disgruntled.

"The thing about the Stunt Men is that we're never happy," Hatcher said. "We want to make that clear. You show me a guy happy to be on the bench, and I'll show you a loser."
